TÜPRAŞ, Turkey’s leading energy company and ÜSTAY signed a contract for the construction of an innovative Propane-Propylene Storage and Sales System Facility at the Izmir Refinery.
This project entails constructing a unit to extract dissolved water from refinery-produced propylene, storing the purified propylene in new spherical tanks for dual use in LPG and propylene services. Subsequently, product sales lines will extend 1.6 km under the sea to the Offshore Loading Platform, facilitating sales via a newly installed filling arm.
ÜSTAY assumes responsibility for engineering, detailed project preparation, material and equipment procurement, manufacturing, field assembly, as well as testing and commissioning for all specified scopes. These endeavors represent the forefront of technological advancement in the industry.
